What is the Automation Logic DevOps Academy? One of the biggest needs our clients have is for bright, business-ready graduates with some commercial experience, a good grounding in relevant DevOps specialisms and an understanding of Agile working methodologies. The AL DevOps Academy provides an intensive 12-week DevOps training course for candidates that provides a vital grounding to be successful in business. Small class-sizes of 6-15 ensures all delegates receive the attention and support they need.
Where is the Academy based? The Academy is based at our offices in Waterloo, where graduates receive classroom style training from experts in each of the fields of study. Following the 12 week Academy, you will be placed on site with one of our clients, on a real-world project.
What will you pay me? Automation Logic believes in investing in our academy members and making sure you don’t have to worry about money while you’re studying. During your 12-week DevOps training period we pay you a salary equivalent to the Living Wage in London. For 2022, this is £11.05 per hour. After successfully completing your training, you will receive a salary of up to £25,750 p.a. and salary reviews based on performance. After completing your probationary period you’ll have access to our fantastic benefits scheme where you can build your ultimate benefits package from a generous annual allowance and select from a number of great benefits such as fully subsidised gym membership, private medical and dental insurance, company pension and much more.
What happens when I’m engaged on a project? When engaged on a project you just turn up to work (usually at the client site) in the regular way and represent Automation Logic in a professional capacity. We encourage you to build strong relationships at work and become a true, trusted advisor. However, we don’t want you to feel isolated within a client site. You will often be in a team with other Automation Logic employees and, even when this is not the case, we are in regular contact with you through a variety of ways.
