The client’s goal was to provide a hosted private cloud solution, in order to remain competitive against market leaders of external cloud providers and integrate with ITSM (IT Service Management) functions, such as Change Management and Configuration Management (CMDB).

The client planned to offer this hosted private cloud solution to their many existing clients. The target audience being those with minimal internal IT teams, requiring the subject matter expertise that could be provided to them, and (if for whatever reason) adoption of public cloud was seen as too risky (eg. Regulatory Compliance, security concerns, etc).


When AL completed the project, our client had already sold the solution to a few clients and their onboarding began; they also had a pipeline of prospective clients they were hoping to on-board over the coming year. This helped them remain competitive in the expanding market of IT solutions and continue to be seen as an industry leader against core competitors; as well as opening new revenue channels for them.

The next steps were to automate some of the lower value (e.g. less frequently performed) tasks and provide general day-to-day management of the systems.  Because AL helped build this capability into the project with a sustainable approach, we handed over management of the solution to them.
